On 22 August 2005, we purchased Villa Roca, a small, one-story house at Numero 11, Mar Caribe—Calle en frente del Aeropuerto. We began the transformation to Casa Flamboyan immediately. We wanted to expand the house upward to include the two suites and outward toward the Caribbean to include a large deck and pool. We wanted to be sure our home on Isla Mujeres allowed all of our guests to enjoy the view of both the Caribbean and the Bay of Mujeres, sunrises and sunsets, tropical breezes, and comfortable hospitality.
